PROJECT OVERVIEW

In February 2020, Hanover Construction Company Ltd. began constructing this pre-primary school located in St Andrew’s Parish Grenada for the Government of Grenada. It was completed as scheduled in December 2020. The school is located on approximately 27,225 ft² of land and consists of 6 classrooms and can facilitate 120 students compared to the previous structure which housed only an average of 45 students. The new structure is a half mile away from the former school creating an easy transition to the new facility for all enrolled students.

The building has been designed to include a principal’s office, janitorial room, kitchen, fenced outside playing area, indoor gym facilities to promote physical activity and fitted with age-appropriately sized washroom areas and toilets to ensure the safety of the pre-school students. The compound is completely fenced to create a safe and comfortable environment for both students and teachers. It includes a carpark which allows teachers and parents ease of access to their vehicles. The building has brightened and uplifted the community.
