Supply Chain Management


Supply Chain Management, fulfills the need for construction material and products to be used in all aspects of construction. Procurement is largely done by HCC’s purchasing department, located at our head office, and stores departments at each construction site. The necessary requirements to service each project are supplied in accordance with design data and engineering management.

Supply Chain personnel attend to all material requests in the most timely and efficient way through established processes and proper resource management and accountability stipulations. Purchase Orders and provided and delivered to the site’s stores department which is logged, stamped, issued and all paperwork is kept at head office, which is vetted and filed. These established processes are tried and proven after years of experience to enable accountability, transparency and to prevent loss or wastage. Purchasing uses strategic procurement approaches and software to guarantee correct material type, quality and value for money is achieved prior to purchasing.

Externally we have support for civil engineering, mechanical engineering and support services, quantity surveying, architects, civil and structural engineers and specialist consultants as required.
